AQUA-600M is a new type of fully automatic online analyzer designed for measuring heavy metals in water. Based on the atomic fluorescence technology and combined with an automatic injection platform, AQUA-600M achieves high precision, low detection limit, high stability, and low maintenance for heavy metal online monitoring.
AQUA-600M uses a chemical reaction to produce a certain amount of hydrogen gas. The heavy metal vapor mixed with the argon gas, it enters the atomizer, where Hydrogen and argon form flames under the ignition device. The heavy metal elements to be tested turns to the atomized states. The free atoms absorb characteristic wavelength radiation, the outer electrons of an atom transition from a low-energy state to a high-energy state. After 10-8 seconds, transite back to the low-energy state, emitting fluorescence simultaneously. The fluorescence intensity emitted is directly proportional to the concentration of heavy metals. The analyzer measures the concentration of heavy metals by comparing the intensity of the emitted fluorescence with a standard curve.
