The AQUA-500IMn Permanganate Index Online Analyzer adopts acid potassium permanganate oxidation method to measure the organic content in the water sample. The organic substances are digested and oxidized in acid potassium permanganate solution under 90℃~95℃.
The organic content can be obtained by comparing the absorbance of potassium permanganate before and after digestion at 525nm.
